The day we have all been waiting for is finally here! This year saw an unprecedented response in the interest from our members to participate in the Unity Games that are going to be held over the Christmas break in Dubai (24-30 Dec). We had over 300 members express their interest to participate and represent Stanmore Jafferys & The Hujjat KSIMC of London.

Thank you to all our members who expressed interest and attended trials. Alhamdulillah, there is a wealth of sporting talent in our community that will serve us for generations to come InshAllah.

The level of interest and calibre of players made the selection process difficult with some tough decisions to make.

The delay in naming the squads has been driven by our efforts to ensure we get the maximum number of teams to participate in the Games, to avoid disappointment from our members – and Alhamdulillah together with the support from the Unity Games organisers we have been able to secure a significantly higher number of teams than we have in previous Unity Games.

SJ & Hujjat are down to be the biggest contingent in Dubai, with over 230 participants across all sports. These numbers are down to the hard work and commitment across the club, from our coordinators, volunteers, members and sponsors who are always on hand to support the club and drive it to new heights.

Below are the number of teams that we are entering across each sport.

Please note the following:
