Club & Community Partners

Since partnering up with the club in 2015, Neomedic has always provided unwavering support to Stanmore Jafferys and has been at the forefront when it comes to encouraging ladies and girls to get involved in sport giving us the backing to become a leading Muslim sports club

Neomedic has sponsored the SJ Ladies club kit for the past 8 years and has also provided invaluable support for Marhaba Festivals, football training courses and subsidising sports for our members

As our official Unity Games ladies kit sponsor and bag sponsor for the whole contingent, we are once again grateful to Neomedic for enabling us to compete on the world stage

WF-AID:
The WF and WF AID have been partners and supporters of Stanmore Jafferys through the years. Over the last few years, we have formalised that partnership, making WF-AID the exclusive Charity Partner of Stanmore Jafferys since 2019, in particular, running an annual fund raising campaign to provide sustainable water solutions for communities around the globe who need it the most

KSIMC of London:
Hujjat have continued to provide unwavering support to Stanmore Jafferys since the inception of the club and we operate under their auspices and guidance.
Stanmore Jafferys is humbled to have the opportunity to represent Hujjat Stanmore at the games

By featuring both organisations on every playing kit across the club, including the Unity Games tracksuits, we show our dedication and appreciation of their support

Stanmore Jafferys first partenered up with MySadaqa in 2022 to provide a platform for our fund raising campaigns

We have further strengthened our partnership by now having MySadaqa as the Club Partner for the Unity Games to be held in Dubai and extending the partnership in 2024

All Stanmore Jafferys participants will be sporting tracksuits with MySadaqa featured on them

We look forward to working with the MySadaqa team into 2024 and beyond

Managers & Coaches

SJ Squad

Badminton Open

A sport boasting incredible young, talented and vibrant players most of whom are participating in their first Unity Games. All bar one of this squad are under 20 but all have already made their names on the UK khoja badminton circuit as awesome players!

Some of the squad represent their respective counties and universities in the UK and are up for the challenge in arguably the most competitive draw of the tournament.

Badminton 40+

Making its debut this year in Dubai, the 40+ Stanmore teams boast a wealth of experience and badminton nouse. The racketeers have, between them, won countless MAMT and Marhaba tournaments in both singles and doubles and the Shots are not far behind following their incredible progress over the course of the past few months training. Led by Manager Sagira, the over 40s are looking to make a racket in Dubai!

Football

The girls have been training hard under the guidance of Coach Mary who has had tough team selection choices to make with an attack heavy squad. After the disappointment of a semi final loss in 2019, the squad is pumped and ready to give it their best!

Netball

As defending Unity Netball champions, the pressure is definitely on to retain the title!

5 exciting teams are taking part from SJ including reigning MAMT and Marhaba champions, Shooting Stars, and the experienced multiple-MAMT winning Old Stars who reached the Unity Netball finals in 2015. But watch out for the talented Top Nets and the youth of the Tisha Tiger Cubs and Titans who shouldn’t be discounted – a mouthwatering competition.

Swimming

Having taken a break from Unity 2019, swimming is back as a sporting category for this year. A sport which is not part of our core weekly offering has meant the ladies have been training personally for this under the guidance of Captain Zahra Gulamhusein – a swimming enthusiast!

Table Tennis

After a slightly disappointing tournament in 2019, the table tennis team – built on a blend of youth and experience – are looking to come back strong this time! Led by our very own Hujjat Chairlady, Nasimabai Karim, the squad have been training weekly ready to give it their all.

Throwball

A relatively new sport for SJ having been introduced only last year, Throwball has gained momentum and popularity thanks to the hard work and dedication of coordinators Sakina and Sajeda. Our teams will be up again strong and experienced East African competition but the girls have been training hard and we wish them all the best!
