Following a fantastic start to the season with 2 wins in the opening 3 games, the next 3 games were agonisingly close with SJ on top for periods of all games. However, the final results didn’t go our way with losses to Tring, Hemel and Warriors by margins of 3, 4 and 5 goals respectively. The final game of the season was against Whippets Green and following some great defending and attacking play, SJ took the win 18-14 ending the season mid-table with 3 wins and 4 losses.
This is a great result in only the 2nd season as a competitive squad and the ladies are now working on strategy, tactics and mindset to help close out games with tight margins and close calls. We look forward to the next season and would love for all keen netballers to try out for the squad when trial dates are announced!
