After the huge success of the event launched last year entitled ‘Khushalentines’ we could not wait to bring it back!
Last year we had an outstanding number of 100 participants. But in true SJ fashion, we were able to exceed this, by having 106 this year!
This year, the Khushalentines weekend was sandwiched in between Imam Mohamed Taqi AS’s Khushali which was on Friday (11th February) and Imam Ali AS’s Khushali which was on Monday (14th February).
The concept stayed the same as last year:
1- Make/buy a small item for a neighbour allocated to them
2 – Deliver the gift through some form of exercise i.e walking, running or cycling
The time and effort everyone dedicated to making personalised gifts and treats blew us away and we would like to thank everyone who took part.
The weekend was BUZZING with messages and photos – from making and receiving gifts to the walk, run or cycle delivery in between!
