Have you ever wanted to take up running but don’t know where to start?
Fear not, SJ Running are excited to introduce our very own Couch to 5K (C25K) running programme for absolute beginners.
Our plan will get you off the couch and running 5km in just 9 weeks! The plan works with a mix of running and walking which will gradually build up your fitness and stamina.
SJ running will provide the full program with 1 coached run a week and you will be required to complete 2 additional runs a week either on your own or with a buddy.
Coached Run:
When: Choose EITHER every Monday or Tuesday 6-7pm starting 24th May 2021
Where: Mondays – Watford Cassio; Tuesdays – Stanmore/Canons Park
Benefits of C25K:
Easy way to improve your physical health.
Running requires little equipment, just a good pair of trainers.
Regular running will improve your heart and lungs. It can also aid weight loss if combined with a healthy diet.
Please Note:
As part of the plan, we will be requesting a deposit of £20 which will be fully refunded if you commit to and complete the full programme. We will permit up to 3 missed sessions with a valid reason (e.g. I am self-isolating). If you miss more than 3 sessions, we will not be able to refund your deposit.
