SJ Ladies Football is excited to launch the Coach Mentoring Programme
The course will be exclusively delivered to Stanmore Jafferys Ladies and will be delivered by well experienced and qualified instructors.
The course has been specifically tailored for us, with a mix of online training (5 sessions) and practical outdoor face to face coaching (4 pitch side sessions at a venue in Northwood) and a final graduation session to attain the FA Playmaker qualification and receive guidance for further development.
Our aim is to reinvigorate Girls Football at SJLFC; to support coaches to plan, deliver and adapt to varying player needs.
This programme is ideal for taking an active role in grassroots football. You don’t need to be an expert in football, you just need to have a love for sport.
At present we only have two (one FA Level 1 and one FA Level 2) qualified coaches at SJLFC; given the talent and interest within our girls, we are unable to meet the needs and demand.
Our objective is to try and sign up to 10 new coaches to assist on a rotational basis with our Sunday afternoon sessions. The course will be heavily subsidised.
