The start of 2022 saw the return of SJ Fitness! Since January, on Mondays, we have been having Boxercise sessions with our very own Mariam Datoo @boxandflexwithmary. The hour is filled with cardio training as well as a full body workout with boxing equipment. Not only can you tone up, but it also gives you an hour to yourself – something most of us don’t have in our busy lives!
Filling within minutes and taking place at Hujjat Stanmore, these sessions have become a staple in the SJ calendar.
After the Monday sessions became consistent, we looked towards giving our members the option of attending another session. After reviewing a survey that we sent out to members to see which sessions members want the most, we concluded that Yoga was the most popular option.
Therefore, starting Wednesday 9th March, we are ecstatic to launch Yoga sessions which will take place at Carpenders Park Community Hall from 8-9pm.
Yoga will be run by Taslim Mawji, who is no stranger to SJ! She is known for having led multiple Yoga sessions before and they have been a huge hit, therefore we look forward to starting these new set of sessions!
