Marching with the Mahdi (ajtfs): SJ Family Scavenger Hunt
To celebrate the Wiladat of our 12th Imam – Imam Muhammad al Mahdi (AS), why not use your daily form of exercise to go for a hunt with your families in search of 12 different items which you can link to our 12th Imam (AS) or Allah (SWT)?
What is it?
The family scavenger hunt will take place on Sunday 28th March, eve of 15th Sha’baan. It is suitable for all ages so that children, parents, grandparents and couples too can hunt together outside for the specified items, and discuss the significance of each.
How does it work?
If you would like to take part, please sign up using the link below. Only one form needs to be completed per household. The deadline to sign up is 12pm on Saturday 27th March 2021.
Upon signing up, you will receive a list of items to search for, which can all be found outside of the house, alongside a document for the parents suggesting how these items can be linked with our Imam (AS) or Allah (SWT). We’d like to also suggest that with each item, you try to link it in some way to one of the 99 names of Allah (SWT), perhaps thinking of the 5 senses used in finding or appreciating this object or the creation of the object itself. Through these talking points, we hope that it will be both a very enjoyable outing and beneficial to all members of the family.
