Youngster of the Month – an initiative aimed at public recognition of U16 members who have stood out to us.
Every month, a post goes up on social media (@stanmorejafferysladies) stating the U16 member’s name, picture and 3 reasons as to why we have chosen them for that month.
They also receive a ‘1 free session’ voucher.
We hope through this initiative we will see girls’ confidence grow and better performances throughout their play!
March 2023 Youngster of the Month is:
Ameera Fatema Merali
- Being consistent at netball sessions has developed Ameera into a wonderful well rounded player and her attitude to learn is second to none which aids this
- She is always willing to help new netballers by explaining how the game is played, as well as aspects such a where you can and can’t go on court
- Constantly willing to learn from her mistakes which has seen her quality of play improve immensely
