As Ramadhan was approaching, the fitness coordinators launched an interest form on the telegram group to gauge whether there would be uptake for Ramadhan fitness sessions to take place at Hujjat Stanmore straight after the Ramadhan mosque programmes. Alhamdulillah the feedback was brilliant, therefore we were able to hold them.
Sessions were led by our very own Mariam Datoo. Sessions were 30 minutes long and exercises were low impact and aimed at aiding better digestion and preventing bloating while at the same time retaining muscle tone.
All proceeds went to WF Aid’s Ramadhan Relief.
We thank Mariam Datoo for making these sessions fun for our ladies, and we thank Hujjat Stanmore and all the volunteers involved for making these sessions a success.
